    I didn’t know Alice Walker had written some short stories. Must have a look for them

      There’s a lot I didn’t know about her either. She contributed to the Florida Guidebook for the Federal Writers Project in 1939. I read about this in Go Gator and Muddy Water. I also learned about Hurston’s documentation of turpentine workers in Florida.
