Do You Believe In Ghosts?

Yes I do. I going to share an experience that convinced me there’s more around us than meets the eye. The experience didn’t scare me. In fact  It helped.

It was like this: I wanted to change my name because my father chose it off the top of his head after I was born.  I didn’t like or want the name he gave me. That damn name never fit. I thought after all the misery he put me through, he gave up his right to name me.

So,I kept trying to come up with a name. Janay,  Jemma,  Joleigh, Jaylia, Carlotta. Colette, Caroline, Camia,  Cresent,  Michelle.  Didn’t like any of them.

Then one day I was walking down the yellow brick road… just kidding. Actually, I was going to the library. I got out of my car heard a voice say ” —–, name yourself —–.” The voice seemed to be on some kind of  radio frequency. It was strange, but real. I don’t know how to explain it.

I like the name. The name fits me perfectly, It is an Urdu word that means separate. In Nigeria it means wall. I did want to dissociate myself from him. And I did with help from a spirit right outside of my sight. Thank you.

And then there's the art, tea and cake, the garden and music; in no particular order and with fun ... then there will be days when there is no order and or fun. Either way my day posts from the print room, the cafe or the bike (which incidentally is usually parked in the garden when not in use) will be tempered accordingly
