I wish I had a real father who loved me. Langston Hughes is one of the candidates for my father. It’s interesting. I miss him although I never met him in the flesh.

“Hope”

Sometimes when I’m lonely,
Don’t know why,
Keep thinkin’ I won’t lonely
By and by.

“End”

There are
No clocks on the wall,
and no time,
No shadows that move
From dawn to dusk
Across the floor.

There is neither light
 Nor dark
Outside the door.

There is no door!

“Troubled Woman”

She stands
In the quiet darkness,
This troubled woman
Bowed by
Weariness and pain
Like an
Autumn flower
In the frozen rain,
Like a
Wind-blown autumn flower
That never lifts its head
Again.

“Bouquet”

Gather quickly
Out of darkness
All the songs you know
And throw them at the sun
Before they melt
Like snow
