Listen and pay attention to a person’s tone, expression, and body language.  Survivors are usually good at this.

Other people can have another perspective.  Accept it.  It’s supposed to be that way because we are all individuals.  Respect others option to make choices different from yours.  This applies to adult children too.  Arrrrgh!

Do what you think is best.  Consider advice from trustworthy, experienced friends and then make your own decisions.

Take credit for success and error.

Surround yourself with people and things you enjoy as much as possible.

Try to stay out of debt.

Drink some water, eat some vegetables.

Laugh.

Don’t rush.
